A ceramic coating is a nano-layer that bonds to your paint and stays there for years. Water beads off, sun stops baking the clear coat, and washing turns into a rinse instead of a project. But here is the part most shops skip: a coating only looks as good as the paint under it. That is why correction and coating are one job for us, not two upsells.
First we fix the paint

Years of automatic washes, dealer buffers and sun leave swirls, haze and oxidation in the clear coat. Under our shop lights you finally see all of it. Multi-stage machine polishing levels those defects out until the paint reads deep and sharp again, like the color did on the showroom floor. Only then does coating make sense.

The coating chemically bonds to the corrected paint and cures into a hard, slick, hydrophobic layer. Water beads and rolls off, taking dust with it. UV stops chewing on your clear coat. Bird bombs and bug guts wipe off instead of etching in. And every wash after that takes half the time, because dirt has nothing to grip.

Coatings get oversold all over the internet, so here is the honest version. A ceramic coating is chemical protection and shine. It is not a force field. Rock chips go straight through it, that job belongs to paint protection film. Know what each layer does and you will spend your money once, in the right place.

No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something. Coatings resist chemicals, UV and light wash marring. Physical armor is PPF territory. Plenty of our customers run both.
A coating locks in whatever sits under it, including every swirl. Correct first and you seal in perfect paint. Skip it and you get very shiny, very permanent scratches.
You can, but the coating already beats wax at everything wax does. If you love the Sunday ritual, use a coating-safe topper. Otherwise enjoy the free time.
Gentle hand wash or touchless. Skip the spinning brushes at tunnel washes, they are what put the swirls there in the first place. Dirt releases easier from coated paint, so washes get faster, not harder.
