Window tinting
for Costa Mesa
Nano-ceramic window tinting for Costa Mesa commuters and project cars alike. Up to 98% of infrared heat and 99% of UV blocked, plotter cut to your exact glass in our Santa Ana studio fifteen minutes up the 55, and backed by ticket protection, so a citation is our problem instead of yours.
Shade you can feel.
Drag the line. Same car, same glass, one of them filmed in nano-ceramic.
Glare going west,
heat coming home
The 405 at rush hour points you straight into the sun, and the 55 home does the rest. Add an uncovered spot at South Coast Plaza or a driveway on the Eastside and the glass gets worked all day. Heat comes from infrared, not from how dark the film looks, which is why a cheap dark tint still leaves the cabin baking at Baker and Bristol.
Nano-ceramic blocks the infrared itself. The westbound glare drops without going limo dark on the front doors, the car heats up slower in a parking lot, and the AC stops fighting a losing battle on the ride home.
- Up to 98% infrared heat rejection
- 99% of UV blocked, so interiors and wraps stop fading
- Less glare on the westbound crawl home
- No metal, so 5G, GPS and toll tags work normally
Pick your percentage
Tap a shade to see roughly how much light it lets through, and where it is allowed. Front windows run 70%, which is a clear film. Behind the driver there is no limit and no minimum.

We handle it.
Here is how it works. If you get a qualifying tint citation on film we installed, we cover the ticket and re-tint the car to a compliant shade at no charge to you. You do not eat the fine and you do not pay twice for film. We go over the terms with you before your car goes in, so nothing is a surprise later.
Paint protection film
for Costa Mesa cars
More people search for PPF in Costa Mesa than in any other Orange County city, it is a car town, and the builds here get shown and noticed. Our studio is ten minutes up Bristol from South Coast Plaza: XPEL paint protection film, clear bra fronts and Color PPF, all installed indoors on digitally cut patterns.
Color PPF
A full color change and paint armor in one layer. Satin or gloss, no respray, fully reversible. In a city with an actual car scene, this is the film that gets people walking over at meets. Prefer the vinyl route? We do color change wraps too. Explore Color PPF
Paint Protection Film
The 405 and the 55 sandblast a front end a little more every day. Self-healing PPF over the bumper, hood and mirrors takes the hits so the paint doesn't. Explore PPF
See your shade
before we cut it
Spin a real vehicle, flip through tint shades from 5% to 70%, and look at the car from every angle before anything touches your glass. Send us the build you like and it becomes your quote.
Open the 3D StudioFifteen minutes
up the 55
From Costa Mesa it is one road: the 55 North, straight to our door in Santa Ana. Call it fifteen minutes from Mesa Verde, closer to ten from the Eastside. Film work is unforgiving, so every car goes into a dust-controlled indoor bay, on a plotter cut pattern for your exact glass, handled by the same crew every day.
- 1715 E Wilshire Ave, Unit 722, Santa Ana
- Mon to Fri 9 to 6, Sat 10 to 4
- Plotter cut patterns, no hand cutting on your glass
- Most cars finished the same day
All of Costa Mesa,
one straight run
From Mesa Verde to the Eastside, the studio is one run up the 55. These are the corners of Costa Mesa we see most.
Mesa Verde
Commuters who hit the 405 before sunrise and drive home staring into it. Legal 70% ceramic up front with a darker rear is the standard order here.
Eastside Costa Mesa
The closest part of town to us, closer to ten minutes than fifteen. Cars that park outside year round, so 99% UV blocked is what keeps the interior alive.
South Coast Metro & SoBeCa
South Coast Plaza runs, Segerstrom nights, meets at The Camp. These are the cars that get looked at, and this is where the tint plus Color PPF orders come from.
Costa Mesa questions,
straight answers
Every week. Costa Mesa sends us a lot of paint protection film work: full fronts before a new car hits the 55, full body on the show builds, Color PPF when the look and the armor need to land in one layer. Ten minutes up Bristol and your paint is covered.
The studio is in Santa Ana, about fifteen minutes up the 55 from most of Costa Mesa. Film work needs a dust-controlled indoor bay, and a parking lot install is how specks and peeling edges happen. Most of our Costa Mesa customers drop the car in the morning and have it back the same day.
70% on the front doors is the California line, a clear film that still blocks the heat and 99% of UV. Everything behind the driver has no limit and no minimum, so 20% or 5% is up to you. Full detail on our California tint law page.
We cover qualifying tickets on film we installed and re-tint the car to a compliant shade, free. The terms are explained up front, before the car ever goes in.
Yes, constantly. Tint goes on the inside of the glass, so it never touches the wrap or the film. If the car is getting wrapped and tinted, book both in one visit and it leaves the studio finished. See our Color PPF and color change pages for the exterior side.
Legal 70% on the front doors already cuts most of the heat and glare, because the rejection comes from the ceramic, not the darkness. Behind the driver most commuters land at 20% for privacy without wrecking night vision. Our ceramic vs regular tint page has the full comparison.
A full car is a few hours, so a morning drop-off is usually ready before the 55 backs up in the afternoon. A windshield or glass roof adds time. Book ahead and the bay is ready when you arrive.
